The Upper Room was dedicated in memory of Mrs. Evelyn Estes, our longtime member and organist. The former reception office for the school, the room has been given new carpet, paint, furniture and curtains. It also has beautiful crown molding- a special feat of engineering by Les Davis due to its odd shape. It has a handsome solid wood cross created by David Brown, her son-in-law, on one wall and a print of Jesus at the crucifixion on the other. This room will be used for families to gather for special functions such as baptisms, weddings, funerals and for prayer throughout the year. We thank her daughters, Arline, Rae and Kyle, for the love they have poured into this room.
