Epiphany Progressive Dinner

(Please note the time changes)

Dear Church Family,

Follow the star as the wise men did long ago and join us for fellowship on Saturday, January 7, 2012.  We will begin our Epiphany celebration at 4:00 pm at Bill and Andrea Thompson’s house for appetizers, at 5:30 pm at Corey and Lori Newsom’s house for salad and entre, with our last stop at Philip and Kim Parker’s for dessert at 7:00.  Please email or call one of our host/hostess to let them know how many to expect and what you will be bringing.

Please email or call Gina Gordon to let her know if you need childcare or if you wish to babysit.  We ask parents to make a donation for pizza and babysitting cost.  We will need a person 21 years of age or older and will pay minimum wage fee.  Carpooling is encouraged; please contact fellow members.

St. Luke’s Youth Wrap it Up

The St. Luke’s Youth Group spent this Sunday afternoon wrapping presents for donations.  Look at them go!

The donations will help to fund their trip to New Orleans for the 2012 ELCA National Youth Gathering this summer.

Give more this year…

This year, instead of one more trip to the mall, take a trip to the ELCA’s global barnyard.  They offer “good gifts”- donations for others that benefit those most in need all over the world.  They also have beautiful cards so that you can honor a loved one with a gift that they will treasure forever.
