The Fellowship Committee planned, prayed, prepared and were pleasantly surprised when it all came together. Our first Tea & Talent Event was enjoyed by all who attended. We thank those who helped us decorate, prepare food, and entertain. We also want to thank those who made donations to our kitchen. If you missed the fun, we hope you will join us next time.

Happy 1st Anniversary of Ordination, Pastor Kate!
St. Luke had a surprise cake and coffee reception for Pastor Kate for her 1st Anniversary of Ordination this past Sunday. It was also a good opportunity to welcome Pastor Kate and Jon back from their Continuing Education trip to Israel.
We also got wonderful pictures of some of our St. Luke’s kids and youth! Check out that joy!
Christmas L.A.F.F. Luncheon 2012
We had a full house at Jane Griffith’s for our Christmas L.A.F.F. Luncheon on Wednesday December 19th. We enjoyed a feast of good food, sang Christmas songs and played Christmas Bingo. Everyone was a winner that day.
2012 Annual Thanksgiving Dinner
The Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Luke’s on November 18th was a delicious success. Thanks to everyone who baked turkeys, hams, and pies. Thanks to those who made their traditional family recipes. And a special thanks to the Fellowship committee, Property committee and their many helpers who set up tables, wrapped silverware, decorated, carved turkeys, washed dishes, swept floors and took out the trash. Here our a few of our helpers in action.

Thank you to our many helpers who got our church ready to decorate for VBS! We accomplished so much and the church building and grounds look beautiful!

Epiphany Progressive Dinner

Dear Church Family,
Follow the star as the wise men did long ago and join us for fellowship on Saturday, January 7, 2012. We will begin our Epiphany celebration at 4:00 pm at Bill and Andrea Thompson’s house for appetizers, at 5:30 pm at Corey and Lori Newsom’s house for salad and entre, with our last stop at Philip and Kim Parker’s for dessert at 7:00. Please email or call one of our host/hostess to let them know how many to expect and what you will be bringing.
Please email or call Gina Gordon to let her know if you need childcare or if you wish to babysit. We ask parents to make a donation for pizza and babysitting cost. We will need a person 21 years of age or older and will pay minimum wage fee. Carpooling is encouraged; please contact fellow members.
