We love a parade!
St. Luke’s families will participate in this year’s Culpeper County Volunteer Fire Department Parade on Thursday, May 26. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m., and members of our congregation will be floating along, promoting this year’s Vacation Bible School: Hometown Nazareth.
If you don’t want to ride or walk in the parade, be sure to cheer us on!
St. Luke’s is heading to Hometown Nazareth!
This year, St. Luke’s Vacation Bible School will be going to Hometown Nazareth–where Jesus was a kid! This innovative program will immerse kids in the marketplace of the village of Nazareth. Participants will learn about Bible times, from local craftspeople to typical foods.
This year, we’re starting VBS on Sunday, July 31 and continuing through Thursday, August 4. Meals will be provided each evening. To sign up, email HometownNazareth@stlukesculpeper.org
Rediscovering Values
In observance of Lent, St. Luke’s is studying the book Rediscovering Values by Jim Wallis. The book discussions are held during Sunday School (9 a.m.) and Wednesdays at 11 a.m.
On March 20 and 23, we’ll be discussing chapters 3, 4 and 5. If you’d like to join the discussion, pick up a copy of the book from Pastor Ken.
Join us for Lenten Suppers
Each Wednesday during Lent, we’ll be sharing a supper of soup and bread at 6 p.m. in the social hall, followed by a Lenten worship service at 7. We hope you’ll join us for fellowship and sustenance.
