Shrove Tuesday, Feb. 21
During the day, the Church Council will be serving pancakes to the students of St. Luke’s School for lunch. At night we will have a pancake supper for the whole congregation at 6pm.
Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22
Come for a reflective worship of ashes and communion to begin our Lenten jouney. 7pm in the Sanctuary.
In observance of Lent, St. Luke’s is studying the book Rediscovering Values by Jim Wallis. The book discussions are held during Sunday School (9 a.m.) and Wednesdays at 11 a.m.
On March 20 and 23, we’ll be discussing chapters 3, 4 and 5. If you’d like to join the discussion, pick up a copy of the book from Pastor Ken.
Each Wednesday during Lent, we’ll be sharing a supper of soup and bread at 6 p.m. in the social hall, followed by a Lenten worship service at 7. We hope you’ll join us for fellowship and sustenance.
